Treblinka was an extermination camp.  The site was razed after the war and this symbolic monument was erected.
Cement trestles leading to Treblinka's gas chamber.
Memorials at Treblinka.
Stutthof was the first concentration camp opened by the Nazis outside of Germany and the last to close.
We had never heard of Stutthof before.  It is a concentration camp that is pretty much in tack, just the way that it was during WWII.
Prison barracks and an entire barracks of shoes worn by Stutthof's prisoners serve as a grim reminder of Hitler's atrocities.
