Who would ever think that there might be giant dunes in Poland? Słowiński National Park along the Baltic is the setting for these moving sand dunes. The highest is 377 feet above sea level.

We toured the 1720 historical home of the lady pictured above. Her house (below) is in the small Pomerania village of Trutnowy. The town is southeast of Gdansk.
Rail is a common method of travel in Poland. Traveling by train is convenient, fast and comfortable.
